Air Traffic Controller – Pilot – Speaker

 

Andy Watson is a public speaker discussing air traffic control topics for pilots at Air Shows, Flight Schools and Universities. Andy has spoken at Oshkosh- EAA’s Airventure, SUN ‘n FUN and is a published author in AOPA’s Flight Training Magazine.

Andy has worked at Washington Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) near Washington D.C., Charleston Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) in South Carolina, Chicago ARTCC and Cleveland ARTCC. Andy also worked as an Air Traffic Safety Inspector in Air Traffic Safety Oversight at FAA Headquarters in Washington D.C.

Andy is an Instrument Rated Private Pilot and has been flying since 1989, when he started at his hometown of Marysville, Ohio. Andy earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Aviation from the University of North Dakota.

Andy also invests in real estate across several states, which he started in 1999 when his parents bought their first rental house. He has overseen and managed rental houses, buy/fix/sell (flips), lease/options, and non-performing notes/mortgages (buying bad loans from the banks) while using private money investors to fund the projects.

Andy is the author of “Andy Watson’s Moving Guide for Homeowners” and the soon-to-be released “Sell Your House for the Best Price: For Sale By Owner”.
